To advance to the championship game, Edin won 8-1 over Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2017 Baden Masters in Baden, Switzerland; and won 6-5 over Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Baden Masters in Baden, Switzerland;
 
Edin finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin lost 6-3 to Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI), then responded with a 7-2 win over Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS). Edin won 9-6 against Stefan Staehli (Bern, SUI), then won 9-3 against Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Baden Masters Championship title, Edin earned 40.671 world rankings points along with the $14,181CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 579.427 total points. Edin ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.671 points earned so far this season.
