Thomas Dunlop (Stonewall, MB) run at the 2017 CanAM MJCT Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-2 loss to JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB).
 
Dunlop finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunlop defeated Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then won 5-3 against Jack Clasen (St. Paul, MN) and 6-5 against Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN). Dunlop went on to lose 7-2 against Josh Moore (Mapleton, MN). Dunlop responded with a 7-1 win over Moore in their final qualifying round match.
