To advance to the championship game, Edin won 8-3 over Patric Mabergs (Skelleftea, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2017 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland; and won 6-0 over Stefan Staehli (Bern, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;
 
Edin finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin lost 5-3 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO), then responded with a 7-4 win over Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Edin won 7-3 against Yves Hess (Zug, SUI), then won 4-1 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) and 11-3 against Switzerland's Gaetan Mancini in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Masters Champery Championship title, Edin earned 43.422 world rankings points along with the $17,949CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 694.687 total points. Edin ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 155.931 points earned so far this season.
