Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) finished 2-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Longworth defeated Wylie Eden (Kelowna, BC) 7-6, then won 6-5 against Chris Baier (Kelowna, BC). Longworth went on to lose 9-3 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Longworth lost 9-7 to Baier in their final qualifying round match.
