Brock Virtue (Unity, SK) run at the 2018 SaskTel Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2018 SaskTel Tankard in Estevan, Saskatchewan;

Virtue won 6-4 against Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK), then won 6-4 against Brady Kendel (Saskatoon, SK) and 8-7 against Laycock in their final qualifying round match.
