Virtue responded with a 7-3 win over Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK). Virtue won 6-4 against Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK), then won 6-4 against Brady Kendel (Saskatoon, SK) and 8-7 against Laycock in their final qualifying round match.
