To advance to the championship game, Clark won 6-3 over Mark Kean (Woodstock, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-2 over Todd Birr (Blaine, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada;
Clark finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Clark defeated Ontario's Brent Ross 4-3, then won 6-5 against Dayna Deruelle (Kingston, ON) and 5-1 against Ontario's Wayne Tuck Jr. in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, Clark take home 24.250 world rankings points along with the $3,400CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Clark did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Clark ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
