Epping finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Mike Siggins (Tempe, AZ) 7-1, then won 5-2 against 's Richard Muntain and 7-2 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Epping went on to lose 6-4 against Laycock in their final qualifying round match.
