In their opening game, Decorvet lost 7-6 to Radoslav Duris (Bratislava, SVK), droppimg another game, 9-8 to Cesare Cassani (Wetzikon, SUI) where Decorvet responded with a 12-2 win over Andrea Tabanelli (Perugia, ITA). Decorvet won 17-2 against Raymond Pfyffer (Crans-Montana, SUI). Decorvet went on to lose 6-4 against Sunseok Seo (Seoul, KOR). Decorvet lost 8-3 to Felix Wagner (Grindelwald, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
