Megan McGillivray (Vernon, BC) lost 9-4 to Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) in the Final of the Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Women, held September 22 - 24, 2017 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McGillivray won 1-0 over Cierra Fisher (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals of the 2017 Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Women in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada;
 
McGillivray finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McGillivray defeated Carly Connor (Prince George, BC) 7-4, then won 7-1 against Kayla Wilson (Victoria, BC). McGillivray went on to lose 1-0 against Daniels in their final qualifying round match.
