To advance to the championship game, McCrady won 1-0 over Nathan Silva (Langley, BC) in the semifinals of the 2017 Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Men in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada;
 
McCrady finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCrady defeated Kyle Habkirk (Victoria, BC) 6-4, then won 7-4 against Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) and 9-4 against Brenin Moore (Langley, BC). McCrady won 1-0 against Jesse Monette (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
