Fischer/Herberg went on to lose 8-6 against Melanie Barbezat/Matthias Perret (Biel-Touring, SUI). Fischer/Herberg lost 12-4 to Miia Turto/Jari Turto (Hittenharju, FIN) where Fischer/Herberg responded with a 8-5 win over Veronika Neznalova/Matej Neznal (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
