To advance to the championship game, Skaslien/Nedregotten won 7-5 over Sarah Brown/Roland Robinson (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Mixed Doubles Curling Challenge in Urdorf, Switzerland; and won 10-3 over Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Mixed Doubles Curling Challenge in Urdorf, Switzerland;
 
Skaslien/Nedregotten finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien/Nedregotten defeated Dace Regza/Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT) 8-3, then went on to lose 8-6 against Turmann/Lill.
