Dace Regza/Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT) finished 1-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Regza/Regza lost 8-3 to Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR), then responded with a 7-4 win over Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI). Regza/Regza went on to lose 10-2 against Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Regza/Regza lost 9-5 to Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
