Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) lost 8-4 to Gina Aitken/Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup, held January 26 - 28, 2018 in Gavle, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Perret/Rios won 7-0 over Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup in Gavle, Sweden; and won 6-4 over Camilla Noreen/Per Noreen (Gavle, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup in Gavle, Sweden;
 
Perret/Rios finished 2-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Michele Jaeggi/Sven Michel (Bern, SUI) 5-3, then went on to lose 8-3 against Rupp/Wunderlin. Perret/Rios responded with a 9-4 win over Michelle Gribi/Reto Gribi (Biel, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
