Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) lost 6-5 to Anastasia Bryzgalova/Alexander Krushelnitskiy (St. Petersburg, RUS) in the Final of the International Mixed Doubles Trophy Aarau, held January 5 - 7, 2018 in Aarau, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Perret/Rios won 9-4 over Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in the semifinals of the 2018 International Mixed Doubles Trophy Aarau in Aarau, Switzerland; and won 4-3 over Maria Komarova/Daniil Goryachev (St. Petersburg, RUS) in the quarterfinals.
 
Perret/Rios finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Stephanie Wild/Daniel Gubler (Aarau, SUI) 7-2, then won 9-4 against Alina Paetz/Sven Michel (Bern, SUI). Perret/Rios went on to lose 8-5 against Komarova/Goryachev. Perret/Rios responded with a 8-2 win over Julia Meissner/Andy Buettner (Geising, GER). Perret/Rios won 8-4 against Zuzana Hajkova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
