Santa Blumberga/Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) qualified for the 2018 WCT Tallinn Masters Mixed Doubles playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-1 against Jayne Stirling/Fraser Kingan (Aberdeen, SCO).
 
Blumberga/Gulbis finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Blumberga/Gulbis defeated Marcella Tammes/Tarmo Vahesoo (Tallinn, EST) 8-6, then won 10-2 against Erika Tuvike/Kaarel Holm (Tallinn, EST). Blumberga/Gulbis went on to lose 9-7 against Stirling/Kingan. Blumberga/Gulbis responded with a 9-5 win over Michelle Gribi/Reto Gribi (Biel, SUI). Blumberga/Gulbis went on to lose 9-1 against Stirling/Kingan in their final qualifying round match.
