Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2017 Balmoral Harvest Junior Womens Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Zi-Qi Dong (Harbin, CHN).

Marks finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks lost 7-2 to Chaelynn Kitz (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 8-6 win over Ashton Simard (Calgary, AB). Marks won 10-1 against Allyson Hamilton (Taber, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 7 of the event schedule, Marks did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Marks ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
