Steven Rotskas (East York, ON) 4-2, then won 5-2 against Josh Leung (Whitby, ON) and 7-5 against Eric Egan (Welland, ON). Fayaz went on to lose 7-1 against Nathan Marshall (Paris, ON). Fayaz lost 8-7 to Charlie Richard (Woodstock, ON) where Fayaz responded with a 6-3 win over John Paul Munich (Midland, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
