Lauren MacKay (Ottawa, ON) finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacKay defeated Emily Deschenes (Manotick, ON) 8-2, then won 8-4 against Alina Tschumakow (Brookline, USA) and 8-6 against Abigail Parks (Ottawa, ON). MacKay went on to lose 7-7 against Lindsay Thorne (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
