In their opening game, Hall defeated Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL) 4-1, then went on to lose 5-2 against Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Hall lost 6-3 to Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) where Hall responded with a 6-2 win over Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON). Hall won 7-5 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI), then won 7-3 against Kyle Habkirk (Victoria, BC) and 7-6 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
