Hall finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hall defeated 's Austin Carlson 10-0, then won 7-3 against Robinson and 7-6 against Charlie Richard (Woodstock, ON). Hall won 9-2 against Jed Currie (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON), then won 3-2 against Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
