Mark Robinson (Sudbury, ON) lost 4-3 to Matthew Hall (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the KW Home Hardware Junior Mens Classic, held November 3 - 5, 2017 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.
 
Robinson finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robinson lost 5-4 to Charlie Richard (Woodstock, ON), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Hall where Robinson responded with a 5-4 win over Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON). Robinson won 9-1 against 's Austin Carlson. Robinson went on to lose 8-4 against Jed Currie (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
