Min Ji Kim (SongHyun, KOR) lost 6-5 to Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the KW Home Hardware Junior Womens Classic, held November 3 - 5, 2017 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.
 
Kim finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Mackenzie Kiemele (Niagara Falls, ON) 7-0, then won 9-0 against Camille Daly (Ottawa, ON) and 6-4 against Madison Bear (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
