Tadas Vyskupaitis (Vilnius, LTU) finished 3-4 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vyskupaitis defeated Israel's Alex Pokras 7-4, then went on to lose 10-7 against Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG). Vyskupaitis responded with a 7-6 win over Lan Zagar (Ljubljana, SLO). Vyskupaitis went on to lose 4-1 against Daniel Poulsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Vyskupaitis responded with a 7-4 win over Adrian Meikle (Hawarden, WAL). Vyskupaitis went on to lose 5-2 against Sebastian Wunderer (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Vyskupaitis lost 6-4 to Ilya Shalamitski (Minsk, BLR) in their final qualifying round match.

Vyskupaitis earned 3.367 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 211th place overall with 12.495 total points. Vyskupaitis ranks 166th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.993 points earned so far this season.
