Palancsa lost 10-3 to Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) where Palancsa responded with a 5-4 win over Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG). Palancsa won 6-4 against Silvia Sykorova (Bratislava, SVK) in their final qualifying round match.

Palancsa earned 5.210 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 138th place overall with 18.316 total points. Palancsa ranks 122nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.092 points earned so far this season.
