Sarah Wark/Jeff Richard (Victoria, BC) finished 4-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark/Richard defeated Em Good/MacAllan Guy (Seattle, WA) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-4 against Rui Wang/De Xin Ba (Harbin, CHN). Wark/Richard responded with a 8-6 win over Maureen Stolt/Peter Stolt (Minneapolis, MN). Wark/Richard won 7-3 against Bobbie Sauder/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB), then won 11-6 against Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Saskatoon, SK). Wark/Richard went on to lose 6-4 against Wang/Ba. Wark/Richard lost 8-1 to Hyeji Jang/Ki Jeong Lee (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 10 of the event schedule, Wark/Richard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wark/Richard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
