Christian Heinimann (Basel, SUI) lost 6-1 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) in the Final of the EJCT Oslo Junior Men, held October 20 - 22, 2017 at the Oslo Curling Club in Snaroya, Norway.
 
Heinimann finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heinimann defeated Kinnear 4-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Ingebridt Bjoernstad (Oslo, NOR). Heinimann responded with a 8-7 win over Emil Hermansson (Goteberg, SWE). Heinimann won 8-2 against Olav Kringlebotn (Hedmarken, NOR), then won 6-5 against Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
