Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO) won 9-1 over Selina Witschonke (Luzern, SUI) in the Final of the Braehead Junior Invitational, held November 3 - 5, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.
 
Jackson finished 5-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jackson defeated Ellen Bromee (Ostersund, SWE) 7-2, then won 7-1 against Melissa Tanner (Lausanne, SUI) and 8-2 against Lucy Blair (Greenacres, SCO). Jackson won 8-0 against Kristina Podrabska (Prague, CZE), then won 9-6 against Amy Bryce (Stirlign, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
