Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) won 6-4 over Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) in the Final of the CanAM MJCT Spiel, held September 15 - 17, 2017 at the Grand Forks Curling Club in Grand Forks, United States. To advance to the championship game, Zacharias won 8-3 over Abbey Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND) in the semifinals
 
Zacharias finished 1-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zacharias defeated Mackenzie Page (St. Paul, MN) 6-2, then went on to lose 5-2 against Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB). Zacharias lost 7-6 to Serena Gray-Withers (Springfield, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 6 of the event schedule, Zacharias did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zacharias ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
