Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) lost 7-5 to Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Larry Jones Junior Classic, held September 21 - 24, 2017 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Lamb won 7-2 over Alexandra Friesen (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
 
Lamb finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lamb defeated Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) 6-0, then won 6-4 against Cassandra Stobbe (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-4 against Abbey Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND). Lamb won 4-2 against Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 7 of the event schedule, Lamb did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lamb ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
