Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-3 over Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) in the Final of the Kyle Flett Memorial MJCT, held November 9 - 12, 2017 at the Petersfield Curling Club in Petersfield, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Walter won 8-3 over Talyia Tober (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
 
Walter finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter defeated Kathryn Cullen (Beausejour, MB) 10-3, then won 8-1 against Cassandra Stobbe (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-1 against Katy Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
