Thomas Dunlop (Stonewall, MB) run at the 2017 MJCT Tour Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-1 loss to Brayden Payette (Brandon, MB).

Dunlop finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunlop defeated Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then won 6-2 against Carter Watkins (Swan River, MB) and 6-5 against Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Dunlop went on to lose 15-5 against Brandon Radford (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 17 of the event schedule, Dunlop did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dunlop ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
