Wiebe finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) 6-4, then won 5-3 against Joshua Friesen (Morris, MB) and 7-4 against Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe went on to lose 6-1 against Brayden Payette (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
