Jones finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones lost 5-2 to Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS), then responded with a 6-3 win over Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Jones won 4-3 against Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB). Jones went on to lose 3-1 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). Jones responded with a 6-1 win over Trent Skanes (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Jones earned 8.105 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 121st place overall with 38.995 total points.
