Marie-France Larouche (Levis, QC) won 8-4 over Catherine Derick (Buckingham, QC) in the Final of the Experience Curling Classic, held November 8 - 12, 2017 at the Baie d'Urfé Curling Club in Baie d'Urfé, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Larouche won 6-2 over Gaetanne Tremblay (Amqui, QC) in the semifinals
 
Larouche finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Larouche defeated Brigitte Gosselin (Sherbrooke, QC) 9-0, then won 7-5 against Laura Thomas (Montreal, QC) and 6-3 against Derick in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Experience Curling Classic Championship title, Larouche earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,280CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, Larouche did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 89th to 95th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 40.362 total points. Larouche ranks 306th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
