Donaldson went on to lose 6-0 against Sarah Wark (Chilliwack, BC). Donaldson responded with a 8-4 win over Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC). Donaldson won 9-3 against Lori Olsen (Kamloops, BC), then won 9-7 against Wark in their final qualifying round match.

Donaldson earned 9.945 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties Open Event #1. For week 18 of the event schedule, Donaldson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Donaldson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
