Lori Olsen (Kamloops, BC) finished 3-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Olsen defeated Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC) 9-4, then went on to lose 10-0 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Olsen responded with a 5-3 win over Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC). Olsen went on to lose 8-1 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Olsen responded with a 6-4 win over Van Osch. Olsen went on to lose 9-3 against Holly Donaldson (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Olsen earned 1.755 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Olsen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Olsen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
