Good/Guy finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Good/Guy defeated Margee Will/Dan Simon (Portland, OR) 7-0, then won 11-0 against Sharon Kerbs/Arnie Iwanick (Portland, OR) and 5-4 against Rhiannon Avery/Bruce Irvin (Boise, ID) in their final qualifying round match.
