Candace Chisholm (Weyburn, SK) is set to play Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Highland SWCT Event, held September 28 - October 1, 2017 in Regina, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Chisholm won 6-4 over Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2017 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 4-3 over Rae Ann Williamson (Weyburn, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;
 
Chisholm finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chisholm defeated Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK) 8-1, then won 10-2 against Stephanie Todd (Regina, SK) and 5-4 against Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Highland SWCT Event, Chisholm take home 14.598 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 89th place overall with 30.725 total points. Chisholm ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.598 points earned so far this season.
