Kitz finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz defeated Hanna Anderson (Hanley, SK) 6-5, then won 8-3 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) and 6-5 against Lisa Wyatt (Lumsden, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kitz earned 11.280 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Highland SWCT Event, moving up 150 spots the World Ranking Standings into 140th place overall with 11.280 total points. Kitz ranks 64th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.280 points earned so far this season.
