Advancing directly to the semifinals, Casey won 7-4 over Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK) to advance to the championship game. of the 2018 Saskatchewan Tour Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan;

Casey finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated Drew Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) 5-0, then won 7-6 against Dale Craig (Saskatoon, SK) and 6-2 against Gedak in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Saskatchewan Tour Championship Championship title, Casey earned 18.743 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 229.061 total points. Casey ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 99.105 points earned so far this season.
