Gedak finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gedak defeated Jeff Chambers (Swift Current, SK) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Casey. Gedak responded with a 6-4 win over Dale Craig (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gedak earned 11.379 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Saskatchewan Tour Championship, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 77th place overall with 79.961 total points. Gedak ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 42.136 points earned so far this season.
