Lauren Marks (Leduc, AB) qualified for the 2017 Leduc LIONS Junior Womens Bonspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Veronica Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB).
 
Marks finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks defeated Kelsie Leeder (Edmonton, AB) 9-6, then went on to lose 7-5 against Maschmeyer. Marks responded with a 7-6 win over Elysa Crough (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
