Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN) finished 8-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jiang defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 5-3, then won 9-3 against Helen Williams (Sydney, AUS) and 9-6 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung. Jiang went on to lose 9-3 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Jiang responded with a 9-3 win over Bridget Becker (Naseby, NZL). Jiang won 9-4 against Fujisawa, then won 11-4 against Williams and 10-1 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung. Jiang went on to lose 11-6 against Kim. Jiang responded with a 9-3 win over Becker in their final qualifying round match.
