In their opening game, Kim defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 8-5, then won 10-1 against Bridget Becker (Naseby, NZL) and 9-2 against Helen Williams (Sydney, AUS). Kim won 9-3 against Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN), then won 11-1 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung and 10-2 against Williams. Kim won 9-4 against Becker, then won 9-4 against Fujisawa and 11-6 against Jiang. Kim won 7-4 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship Championship title, Kim earned 15.960 world rankings points, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 279.499 total points. Kim ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 115.510 points earned so far this season.
