Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS) finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Millikin defeated Hong Kong's Jason Chang 11-6, then won 18-2 against Qatar's Nabeel Alyafei and 9-3 against Sean Becker (Naseby, NZL). Millikin won 8-6 against De Jia Zou (Harbin, CHN), then won 10-5 against Chinese Taipei's Randie Shen. Millikin went on to lose 9-2 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Millikin responded with a 6-5 win over Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Millikin won 10-2 against Viktor Kim (Almaty, KAZ) in their final qualifying round match.

Millikin earned 6.413 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship, moving up 194 spots the World Ranking Standings into 287th place overall with 6.983 total points. Millikin ranks 177th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.413 points earned so far this season.
