Ulsrud lost 6-4 to Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) where Ulsrud responded with a 7-2 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Ulsrud earned 21.158 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.391 after improving upon their best so far this season. Ulsrud ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 202.108 points earned so far this season.
