Kevin Koe (Calgary, CAN) finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) 5-3, then won 6-4 against Kyle Smith (Perth, UK) and 7-4 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Koe won 7-6 against Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Koe went on to lose 5-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Koe lost 8-6 to Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Koe lost 9-7 to John Shuster (Duluth, USA) where Koe responded with a 8-4 win over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Koe won 8-3 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

Koe earned 45.338 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Pyeongchang Winter Games - Men, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 41.601 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 404.665 points earned so far this season.
