Hasselborg won 8-7 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI), then won 8-6 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, UK). Hasselborg went on to lose 7-6 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Hasselborg lost 5-4 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) where Hasselborg responded with a 8-4 win over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Hasselborg won 9-6 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pyeongchang Winter Games - Women Championship title, Hasselborg earned 110.907 world rankings points. Hasselborg move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 83.937 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 830.218 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Hasselborg ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 435.269 points earned so far this season.
